Saji Surendran, who was popular with his TV serails, shot to fame with his first film 'Ivar Vivahitharayal' with Jayasurya and Bhama in the leading roles. His movie 'Happy Husbands' starring Jayaram, Jayasurya, Indrajith, Bhavana, Rima Kallingal, Samvrutha Sunil and Vandana Menon was also a superhit. But 'Husbands in Goa' is not a sequel to 'Happy Husbands', points out, the director.

The roles of three young husbands are played by Jayasurya, Indrajith, and Asif Ali. At Goa, the trio meets a man, who is on the verge of a divorce. Their wives also reach Goa, and the game of hide and seek begins.

Bhama, Bhavana and Samvrutha Sunil are the heroines. Anil Nair handles cinematography. Husbands in Goa will have script by Krishna Pujappura.

Husbands in Goa will start shooting in early 2012.
