Director B. Unnikrishnan's upcoming movie 'Grand Master' will see Priyamani opposite Mohanlal for the first time. Mohanlal will play the role of a middle aged police man in this film.

Roma and Tamil actress Seetha will play the other two important characters in this flick. Siddique, Narain, Saikumar, Jagathy Sreekumar, and Sampath are also in the cast.

Mohanlal’s character always recognizes the threats against him in advance as grand masters in chess. But he fails at a particular juncture in this movie. The story of the film revolves around this.

Deepak Dev and Gopi Sundar composes music for the film. Vijay Ulakanath handles camera.

The story of Grand Master is written by the director himself, while the movie is produced by UTV Motion Pictures. Grand Master is a suspense thriller and will start shoot soon. It may be released for Vishu 2012.
