Indrajith plays the protagonist in the upcoming Malayalam movie Chekavar. Chekavar is the directorial debut of renowned script writer Sajeevan. Kalabhavan Mani plays another lead in the film, while Samvritha Sunil and Sarayu are the female leads.

Chekavar is expected to be an action cum family drama. Indrajith plays the role of a Police Inspector. Innocent, Jagathy sreekumar, Bindu Panikkar, Suraaj Venjaramood and many other known names are in the cast.

The film is produced by Pentagon Creations. Chekavar has completed its shooting and is on the post production works now. The film will reach theatres in November.
