Sreenivasan play the leading role of Madhavankutty, a school master in a remote village. He is popular among his friends and students, but his wife (played by Rajasri) often complain that he does not help her in household work. But people keep a distance from Madhavankutty after an incident. The film revolves around Madhavankutty's life and the incident that changes his life.
