Vishu Kani is the representation of prosperity of the house and is considered to be very auspicious.

Vishu Kani is made by the woman of the house, with the Idol of Lord Sri Krishna in the middle and all the vegetables, fruits, Konna flower, Gold, New Clothes are arranged in from of the Lord. Lamps will be lightened and all the members of the family see this visual as the Vishu Kani early in the morning on Vishu Day.

Vishu Kaineetam will be given to younger people by the head of the family. Vishu Sadya is also served in the afternoon.
