Vysakh, director of Mammootty-Prithviraj superhit 'Pokkiriraja', directs Prithviraj again in the upcoming movie Mallu Singh. Prithvi turns a Sardarji in this flick.

Mallu Singh is the story of a Malayali boy who travels to Punjab. The movie is scripted by Sachi-Sethu. Mallu Singh is produced by Neeta Anto under the banner Aan Media. Cinematography is by Shaji.

Dileep-Rafi-Mecartin combination Punjabi House was a super hit comedy in Mollywood, which was about a Malayali boy who becomes the part of a Punjabi family settled in Kerala. A second part for this film is also on track with Dileep in the lead role. Dileep film is rumored to be titled Lucky Singh. So Malayalam film fans can expect to Punjabi stories on screen with Dileep and Prithviraj as Sardarjis.

Mallu Singh will be a full length comedy entertainer. Prithviraj plays the role of Harindra Singh who pretends to be a Sardarji and runs a Dhaba in Punjab. Kunchacko Boban plays another important role in the film.

The story goes on like this. Hari absconds from his home town in Kerala and his relatives believe that he is dead because they can have Hari's wealth if he not alive. As he was absconding for about 7 years, it can be taken that he is not alive legally. But Hari's uncle's children start looking for him and her search reaches Punjab.

They see a young Punjabi named Harinder Singh at a village during a Bangra dance. They doubt Harinder Singh to be Hari. Does their suspicion prove true or not will be the crux of the story.

Photo Shoot of Mallu Singh is already finished by Prithviraj at Kochi. He appears with a Sikh turban and beards in the movie.

Mallu Singh will start shooting after Vysakh's 'Seniors' is completed at Pollachi and Punjab.
