Prithviraj got his break as the young hero of Malayalam cinema through Deepan's 'Puthiya Mukham'. Prithviraj and Deepan joins hand again for another movie titled 'Hero'. Prithviraj will be seen in a double role in this flick.

Tamil actor Srikanth will play the antagonist in Hero. Serial actress and advertisement model Yami Gautham is the heroine.

Prithviraj will don the roles of Tarzan Antony, an assistant stunt director in films and also as a street rowdy. Yami Gautham appears in the role of an actress Gauri Menon.

Anoop Menon, Nedumudi Venu, KPAC Lalitha, Anil Murali, Bala, Arun, and Thalaivasal Vijay are the others in important roles in Hero.

Hero is scripted by Vinod Guruvayur. The shooting of the movie has commenced at Ernakulam.
