When Rajasenan lost ground, Saji Surendren seems to have taken Jayaram in his wings. Saji's third flick, Four Friends has started shooting and the film is a multi starrer with Jayaram, Jayasurya, Kunchacko Boban and Meera Jasmine.

Saji Surendran, after the success of two films, Ivar Vivahitharaayaal and Happy Husbands is a happy director with the commercial success he gained. Ivar Vivahitharaayaal was a surprise winner and also the first solo hit for Jayasurya. The film paved way for Suraj Venjarammood to get the prized State Award. His next film Happy Husband followed suit and it was produced by Milan Jaleel. Happy Husbands is about to complete 150 days and the team has planned to lionize this juncture at Dubai in June 4, 2010.

Meera Jasmine is working on a number of projects now. Her Tamil films, Adhi Narayana and Malaiyoor Mambattiyaan are in their post production while Pen Singam is completed. She is also working on the Malayalam film, Pattinte Palazhi.

Earlier Saji planned to do a Prithviraj film named Ulakam Chuttum Vaaliban but got delayed.

Four Friends will be shot in Kerala and abroad and is scripted by Krishna Poojappura. The flick is produced by Tomichan Mulakupadam under the banner of Mulakupadam Films. The movie is set for July 18 release.
