Ezhamathe Varavu, the upcoming Onam release, has the hit makers Hariharan and MT Vasudevan Nair team, coming together again. Indrajith, Vineeth, Bhavana and Kavitha Nair are in the leading roles.

Vinu Mohan, Suresh Krishna, Mamukoya, Mohan, Kanchana and KTC Abdullah are also in the supporting cast. The story and screenplay by MT Vasudevan Nair and direction by Hariharan gives much expectation for the viewers. This emotional drama movie is produced by Hariharan himself under the banner Gayathri Cinemas Enterprises. Hariharan scores music too.

Initially Narain and Padmapriya were to do the lead roles, but later replaced by Vineeth and Bhavana. Vineeth is an old favorite of Hariharan and has acted in his hit movies like Nakhakshathangal and Sargam.

The story of Ezhamathe Varavu is set in the backdrops of the forest. Ezhamathe Varavu will be released on September 15th, 2013.
