Mixed Vegetable Thoran
is a tasty Thoran recipe, which is a combination of Cabbage, Snake
Gourd, Bitter Gourd and Carrot.

Ingredients:
Snake Gourd (Padavalanga), Carrot - 50 g each
Bitter Gourd (Pavakka), Cabbage - 50 g each
Large Onion - 1 medium sized
Coconut Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Urad Dal (Uzhunnu Parippu) - 1/2 tsp
Grated Coconut - 1/2
Salt - as required
Turmeric Powder - 1 pinch
Chilli Powder - 1 small spoon |

Method:
Pour oil in a pan. When it becomes hot,
splutter mustard seeds.
Add Urad dal and when it starts to become red, add the grounded
coconut.
When the rawness disappears, add the thinly sliced vegetables along
with salt, turmeric and chilli powder.
Mix well and cook covered until done. |
