Lady's Finger (Vendakka) Mezhukkupuratti is a very simple and tasty dish which goes well with rice,
chappathi or Nan.

Ingredients:
Ladies finger - 15
Onion - One large cut fine
Green chilly - 2 slit
Oil - 2 table spoon
Mustard - ½ tsp
Pepper powder - A pinch
Salt to taste |

Method:
Cut ladies finger in to two pieces and
then slit in the middle.
Heat oil in a pan , put mustard seeds
fry till it pops up.
Add onion, green chilli and ladies
finger with salt.
Mix well and keep it covered. Do not add
water at all. Stir after every 3 minutes.
When the ladies finger shrinks and the
onions turn brown, add pepper powder and serve hot with chappati or
nan.
