Aloo Gobi

Aloo Gobi - North Indian Cuisine - Rich in Carbohydrates and Vitamins. Ingredients 1. Potato - 450 gm 2. Oil - 2 tbsp 3. Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1 tsp 4. Green chillies - 1 5. Cauliflower made into florets - 450 g 6. Coriander Powder - 1 tsp 7. Chilly powder - 1/4 tsp 8. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp 9. Cumin Powder - 1 tsp 10. Salt - As required 11. Coriander Leaves - for garnishing Method Cut Potato into pieces and cook in water for 10 minutes. Drain excess water and keep aside. Heat oil in a kadai. Add cumin seeds. Add green chillies and sauté well. Put the cauliflower florets and sauté for further 5 minutes. Add the sixth ingredients to this and mix well. Cook Covered for some time. When the vegetables are cooked well, remove from fire and garnish with coriander leaves.
