Achinga Payar Mezhukkupuratti

Achinga Payar Mezhukkupuratti is a very easy preparation made of Achinga Payar in Coconut Oil. Ingredients Achinga Payar : 250 g Oil - 4 tbsp Salt - as required Method Cut Achinga Payar length wise. Pour oil into a hard bottomed pan and add Achinga Payar to the oil. Add salt and a little water. Use very little water only. Cook covered on low flame for about 2 minutes. Open the lid and cook on low flame, for another 5-6 minutes, until the rawness of the payar disappears. Mezhukkupuratti is ready to be served with Rice.
