Parippu Vada - Delicious tea time snack. Famous in Kerala local
restaurants and hotels.

Ingredients:
1. Tur dal - 1 cup
2. Small Onions chopped - 1/4 cup
Green Chilly chopped round - 3
Ginger chopped fine - 2 tsp
3. Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Salt as to taste

Method:
Soak the tur dal in water for an
hour. Grind it adding salt
coarsely. Add the second and
third ingredients along with this mixture.
Make vadas, heating oil in a pan.
Serve hot with tea.
