Vada - Very Simple and Delicious Snack for all at home. It is a very
popular tea time snack.

Ingredients:
Big Onion chopped thin - 4
Green Chilly chopped - 6
Curry Leaves - 1 stem
Asafoetida Powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilly Powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - as to taste
Gram Flour - 100g
Oil - for frying

Method:
Saute onion, green chilly and curry
leaves in 1 tbsp hot oil.
Mix the gram flour with chilly powder,
salt, asafoetida powder and water.
Add the onion mixture to the dough and
mix well.
Make the dough into vada shapes and fry
in hot oil and serve. |
