| Maida Vada is a very good tea time snack item, easy to be made.

Ingredients:
Maida flour - 2 cups
Asafoetida powder - 1 pinch

Ginger sliced - 2 tsp

Curry leaves cut into small pieces - 1
tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method:
Mix the maida flour with asafoetida powder and salt.
Add the cut ginger and curry leaves
to the flour and mix well. Add
enough water to make it a dough. The dough should not be very loose.
Heat Oil in a kadai and take parts of
the dough and put it into oil as we do for bhaji.
Drain it from oil in a kitchen towel.
Serve with tomato sauce. |
