Ethakka Appam is a
unique delicacy made from ripe bananas in which bananas are dipped in
specially made batter and deep-fried.

Ingredients:
Ripe plantains (Nendrapazham) - 2 nos
Sugar - As reqd
Atta and Maida - 1:1 ratio
Baking powder - A pinch. |

Method:
Cut bananas into small pieces.
Mix together atta, maida, baking powder, and sugar in water to make a
thick batter.
Dip the bananas into this paste and fry them in oil.
