Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan acts together in the movie Kurbaan directed by Rensil De Silva who scripted Rang de Basanthi. He has been offered to direct the film after he presented the script to Karan Johar.

The shooting of the film took place in Europe. Kurban have very intimate and hot kissing scenes featuring the lead actors. Rensil wrapped up the shoot with directing a promo music video. He used to shoot music videos years ago. Kurbaan video looks spiritual and only has Kareena in stills developed from the dramatic shots of the film. It was shot at Mukesh Mills in Mumbai and choreographed by Boscoe.

Post production works are progressing.

The film is being compared with De Dhana Dhan starring Akshay and Katrina as it was expected to release on the same day of Kurbaan. Saif and Kareena’s pairing in movies has been a disaster.

They were earlier seen together in the Yash Raj productions film Tashan. Kurbaan deals with terrorism, its performance at the Box Office cannot be guaranteed against comedy flick De Dana Dan directed by Priyadarshan. This forced Kurbaan to be preponed by a week.

Kurban will release on 20th November. The film is produced by Karan Johar.
