Megastar Mammootty plays the hero and Prithviraj turns villain in the upcoming Amal Neerad movie 'Arival Chuttika Nakshatram'.

It will not be a political movie as the name suggests, but will be a period film set in the 1940s and 50s. Arival Chuttika Nakshatram will be a big budgeted movie produced by Santhosh Sivan, Prithviraj and Shaji Natesan under the banner of August Cinema.

Sensational actress Vidhya Balan, who made her debut in Malayalam films through the movie Urumi opposite Prithviraj, will also act in Arival Chuttika Nakshatram.

Script writer Shankar Ramakrishnan, who had earlier penned stories for movies Urumi and Island Express, writes the story for this flick too.

Mammootty and Prithviraj comes together again after 'Pokkiriraja' which was a superhit.

Gopi Sundar composes music for Arival Chuttika Nakshatram. Rafeeq Ahmed pens the lyrics.

The film will start its shooting soon.
