Manju Warrier

Manju Warrier is considered as one the most talented actress in Malayalam Cinema. She was born on November 1, 1978 at Kannur in Kerala.

Early life Manju Warrier had extraordinary talent in dance when she was at school. She was adjudged 'Kalathilakom' in the Kerala Youth Festival for two years. She acted in her first film Sallapom when she was 15 years old.

Film Career Manju Warrier acted in more than 50 films in her career. Her performance in the movie 'Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu' was extraordinary and won a special mention from jury for national film awards. Her other popular films are Kanmadam and Aaram Thamburan with Mohanlal, Ee Puzhayum Kadannu and Kudamattom with Dileep, Summer In Bethlehem, Pranayavarnnangal, Pathram and Kaliyattom with Suresh Gopi, Irattakuttykalude Achan, Kaliveedu, Thooval kottaram and KrishanGudiyi Oru Pranayakalathu with Jayaram. Her performances in these films were extraordinary. She left the film field at the peak of her career.

Personal Life Manju Warrier is married to Dileep, her co-actor in many films, on 20th October 1998 at Alwaye Sri Krishna Temple. Now she live in Alwaye with Dileep and their daughter Meenakshi. Unfortunately, she quit the cinema field after marriage to become a housewife. Her father is an accountant, and mother a housewife. Her brother Madhu Warrier is also a film actor.
