Vaidya Retnam Ayurveda College, Ollur, Thaikkattussery

Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College, has been well known as an outstanding institution imparting high quality education in Ayurveda. This prestigious college conducts a course leading to award of Bachelor's Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (B A M S).

This five and half years course including one year of house surgeoncy is recognised by Central Council of Indian Medicine and successful candidates are eligible to get "A" class registration enabling them to practice Ayurveda anywhere in this country. Candidates are admitted to this course based on their performance in an entrance examination conducted by the Government of Kerala.

The total number of seat is limited to forty, out of which five are reserved for the management. Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls are provided in the college campus.
