St.Thomas College, Thrissur is the oldest Catholic College in Kerala and is affiliated to the University of Calicut.

The College Library with its one lakh of volumes, and very rich and rare volumes, is the best Library in Calicut University. There are three sections for the library namely General, Science and Arts. General Library holds Reference, Classics, Malayalam, Sanskrit and foreign language collections while the Science library has to its credit highly valuable titles on Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics and Statistics.
