St. Xaviers College for Women, Aluva

Affiliated to M.G. University, St. Xavier's College is set to develop women who can see beyond what the world is by polishing their prowess to realize and establish the meaning of femininity which is to be equated with ultimate humanity.

St.Xavier's College for Women, Aluva has 41 years of glorious history. started functioning on 6th July 1964 with four batches of pre-degree classes with a total strength of 238 students and 22 members of the teaching staff. It, was raised to the status of a degree College in 1968. It now offers Degree courses in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Vocational Economics, Malayalam, English literature, Communicative English and Commerce. Post graduate courses in Commerce, Physics, English and Microbiology started in 1984, 1998 and 2001 respectively. The college now functions with 10 U. G. Depts. and 4 P.G. Depts.
