The opening of Sree Narayana College, Sivagiri, marked the fulfilment of a long-cherished dream of the Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam and the Sree Narayana Trusts.

Sivagiri Sree Narayana College is the only college catering to the educational need of the people of Varkala, Paravur, Chirayinkil and Kadakavur. Students from atleast thirty higher secondary schools in government and private sector find our college as the only place for higher education in the vicinity. Sivagiri hills is the Head Quarters of two world renowned organisations, one is ‘Narayana Gurukulam’ established by ‘Narayana Guru’, a direct disciple of Sree Narayana Guru and the ‘Sree Narayana Dharma Sangham Trusts’.

The college attained the highest landmark when the National Assesment and Accreditation Council honoured it with B+ Grade in the year 2003-04,Taking in to account its academic perfomance,healthy practises and the infra structure facilities.
