Noopura Institute of Indian Classical Dance and Music
Noopura Institute of Indian Classical Dance and Music was established in 1970 under the leadership of Dr. K. R. Kurup. Noopura periodically modified the Traditional art form of Kerala ‘Mohiniyattam', under the patronage of Sri. Kalamandalam Krishnan Nair and Smt. Kalamandalam Kallyani Kutty Amma.
Under Noopura there is a special centre for Kathakali in memory of late Kalamandalam Krishnan Nair.
