Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College, Kolencherry
The Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College is situated by the side of NH 49, connecting Kochi and Madurai, on a 40acre campus sprawled across the scenic countries. This Medical College is affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University.
Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical Mission was established in the year 1967 with the objective to engage in activities, which will result in the development and upliftment of the rural areas and facilities around Kolenchery. Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College is a premier healthcare insitution in Kerala.
Library is housed in a separate floor with 1355 sq meter area to accomadate all sections. College started its MBBS course in the academic year 2002-03. The course duration is 4 ½ years followed by one year compulsory rotating resident internship.
