M.E.S Mampad College is situated in Mampad village at an ideal, serene natural setting congenial for physical as well as psychological growth of the learners.

Affiliated to the University of Calicut, with a rich and unique tradition, the college is unquestionably the best institution run by the Muslim Educational Society, the premier educational organisation of Muslims in Kerala.

The college was started in 1965 by the Eranad Educational Association and later adopted by the more capable Muslim Educational society in 1967.

The college was upgraded in 1970 with degree courses in Economics, Commerce and Zoology. Later new degree courses were introduced in Arabic & Islamic History ( 1977),Chemistry (1979), Food Technology (1995), Physics with Computer Application (1998), English with Journalism and Public Relations (2001) and History (2001). Postgraduate courses were introduced in Zoology (1978), Arabic (1980). Mathematics (1981), Economics (1984), Chemistry (1993) and Commerce (1999).
