Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee has been represented by the most popular, most charismatic and most dynamic political figures and that is a tradition that continues even today.

Shri. Ramesh Chennithala, was appointed as the president of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee on June 24th, 2005. Shri. Chennithala, who was a member of the Congress Working Committee (CWC), the party's highest decision-making body, succeeds Shri. Thennala Balakrishna Pillai.
