Kasaragod Police
At present, two Police Sub divisions viz Kasaragod and Kanhangad, Six Police Circle office (Kasaragod, Kumbla, Adhur, Hosdurg, Nileshwar, Vellarikundu). 15 Police stations and one traffic unit are functioning in this district.
Ambalathara PS was the new and last formed Police station after bifurcating Hosdurg and Bekal Police stations.
Kasaragod District Police Office was formed on 05.08.1984 vide Go(MS) 66/84 Home Dt.30.05.84.
