Indiavision

Indiavision is an Indian news channel in Malayalam based at Kochi.
It was the first full fledged News Channel in Malayalam. It has its registered office at Edappally in Kochi.

Under the chairmanship of Dr. M. K. Muneer, a leader of Indian Union Muslim League, Indiavision started telecasting in 2003. Eminent Writer M. T. Vasudevan Nair is the Chief Programme Consultant.

Jamaludheen Farooquee is the Resident director. M V Nikesh Kumar is the Executive Editor and CEO of the news channel.

On February 14, 2007 Indiavision launched its second channel, YES (Youth, Entertainment & Sports). Gulf-based MET (Middle East Television) is close to clinching a deal with Indiavision for using its earth station.

Indiavision’s teleport in Kochi can uplink two channels currently and will soon able to accommodate another pair.

To a good chunk of general public Indiavision has become a channel for continuous and compulsory watching.Visibility of Indiavision in Kearala is 100 percent. It has reached every single village in Kerala.
