Govt.Homoeopathic Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram is a Government College. The courses are affiliated to Kerala University.
The Govt.Homoeopathic Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram started functioning during 1983. The Five and a half years BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery) is offered here.
Fifty students are admitted every year for the course. The selection of students for admission is from the common medical entrance test conducted by the Government of Kerala.
The three year Post Graduate course (MD (Hom)) in two subjects (Homoeopathic Philosophy and Materia Medica) were started in 1995. In 1996 another PG course in Repertory was added. In the year 2004, Post Graduate courses were started in the subject of Practice of Medicine and Homoeopathic Pharmacy. Six students are admitted to each speciality through the Homoeopathy post graduate entrance test conducted by the Government of Kerala. The one year Nurse cum Pharmacist course is also conducted in the college.
