Govt. Medical College, Velappaya, Thrissur

Government Medical College Thrissur, established in 1982. Hundred students are being admitted for the MBBS course in this medical college each year. The college is affiliated to the University of Calicut.

Spread over an area of more than 250 acres, it is located in in the serene surroundings of Mulagunnathukavu(M.G Kavu) 14 k.m. away from from Thrissur.

Ever since it's inception it has been giving inspiration to many glittering achievements in the field of medicare both in India and abroad.

Controlled by Government of Kerala. Exams are held by University of Calicut, Kozhikode, Kerala
