Govt. Girls, Higher secondary School is situated at Irijalakuda in Thrissur District and is one of the best higher secondary schools in Kerala.
This is the first institution in the state to have introduced postmodern facilities such as its own web site and E-Mail address for all students and staff of this institution.
The Library of this school is the best library in Irinjalakuda Educational District. There are 15,000 books in various languages and in various subjects. Separate Library for Plus Two and VHSE is maintained.
Noon feeding to Upper Primary students is well organized and a large number of students make use of this facility.
