Animal Planet is a cable and satellite television network co-owned 80% by Discovery Communications, Inc and 20% by BBC Worldwide.

Animal Planet has grown to become television's leading broad-based, family-friendly entertainment network.

The channel is dedicated to programming that highlights the relationship between humans and animals.

Animal Planet airs Tail-E-Vision every Friday. Shows include Meerkat Manor, All-New Planet's Funniest Animals, and Ms. Adventure. There are also shorts in the commercials called Fast facts, Quick Clips, and TV for Your Pets.
