Amal Jyothi College of Engineering is situated at Koovappally in Kottayam district and is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. Amal Jyothi College of Engineering (AJCE) offers five degree programs (B.Tech) of 4 years duration.

Amal Jyothi is a super complex of nearly 6 lakh sq.feet overlooking the Kottayam- Kanjirapally -Sabarimala state highway.The two own campus hostels ,taken care of by Catholic Priests and nuns,have a capacity of 1250 inmates .The campus has a 6mbps internet connectivity and the departments are connected with optical fiber .There is video conferencing facility as well.

Amal Jyothi College of Engineering Kanjirapally is the first and only new generation Engineering college in kerala to complete the process of NBA Accreditation.
